Hi, I'm Keigan.

Founder | Adults & Children (Age 10+)

I've been playing music for nearly 20 years, starting with drums at 13 and later picking up the guitar. I eventually majored in music before spending six years working at a record label.

But honestly, qualifications aren't what make a great music lesson. Learning an instrument should be fun. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your pace and personal goals.

Instead of drilling music theory and sitting for grading exams, I emphasize overall musicality, helping you develop your ear, rhythm, technique, and confidence. You’ll be playing real songs sooner than you think!

Tutor | Children (Age 5-12)

I first discovered the quiet magic of making music in school marching band, where I spent five years playing the French horn. That early spark led me to pick up the guitar and join a band, and over the past two years I’ve poured my energy into the drums. Having taught children aged 6 to 10, I now specialise in guiding kids under 12 on the drum kit in helping them find the same sense of belonging and joy that music once gave me.

I don’t believe every child learns the same way. My lessons are shaped around each child’s unique spark, interests, personality, and natural pace rather than a rigid structure. We explore rhythm and coordination through songs they already love, simple creative exercises, and plenty of hands-on playing.

Keigan is a detail-oriented and observant teacher who encourages plenty of two-way communication. Every lesson is personalised as he doesn't teach every student the same way, but tailors each class to your strengths, goals, and areas for improvement.

One thing I really appreciate is the flexibility. There's no pressure to attend on a fixed weekly schedule. You can choose to have 1 to 3 lessons a month based on your own availability, and you don't have to commit to the same dates every month. Since classes are held on weekday evenings, it fits perfectly around work, leaving weekends free to practise on my own.

Before signing up, I was able to try a trial class, which helped me decide if the teaching style was the right fit. You only pay the studio rental fee (around RM30), so it's a great way to experience a lesson without a big commitment.

The admin process has been smooth and hassle-free. One small thing that really stood out to me is that because classes usually end at night, Keigan always makes sure I'm safely on my way and even walks me to my car. It's a simple gesture, but it reflects the kind of person and teacher he is.

Throw him a random question, he will definitely answer. He's very encouraging throughout the lesson even though I've made plenty of mistakes (it's part of the learning process).
