Hello, I’m Keigan!
I’m a musician with nearly two decades of experience in both drums and guitar. I started playing drums at 13 and picked up the guitar at 15. Eventually, I majored in guitar for my music degree and received a First Class Honours from the University of Wolverhampton. Since then, I’ve been actively teaching and performing both instruments.
In addition to that, I’ve worked in the music industry at a major record label, collaborating with both local and international artists. This experience gives me a broader perspective on what it takes to be a well-rounded musician — whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your craft.
My classes focus on helping adult beginners who are looking to try something new, whether it’s picking up an instrument for the first time, revisiting a long-lost hobby, or simply learning to play a few songs for fun. My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to your pace and personal goals. Instead of drilling music theory or reading notes right away, I emphasize overall musicality, helping you develop your ear, rhythm, technique, and confidence. You’ll be playing real songs sooner than you think.
Beyond the instruments themselves, I also bring experience from working in the music industry at a major record label, collaborating with both local and international artists. So, if you’re ever curious about songwriting, recording, production, or even what it takes to manage an artist, I’m always happy to share.

DRUM LESSONS
I’ve been playing drums for over 19 years, and after going through all the trial and error myself, I’ve developed a way to teach that helps new learners pick it up quickly and comfortably, without the usual frustration. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to brush up your skills.
My Approach

•Basic music reading (just enough to support your growth – or full nerd mode if you’re into that).
•Ear training, learning how to listen and play by ear
•Drumming technique & building cool beats
•Playing your favourite songs
•Customised practice materials prepared by me to support your growth.

Duration:
1 hour per lesson
Rates:
RM130/hour
Free Trial Lesson:
Free (45 mins): just cover the studio fee (RM30). Try out drumming and be surprised at what you can do!
